Cross Country celebrated their season with a fun filled awards ceremony.
Cuba Elementary has kicked off their World's Finest Chocolate Fundraiser!
This fundraiser is used to raise money for your child's school. It goes right back into their education and overall success at school!
This fundraiser is optional and is meant to be a fun way for students to help out. There is zero pressure to participate but a SWEET way to give back to your child's school. We strongly encourage students to: put your name on your box of chocolate, only sell to people you or you family know, have your parents take the order form to work with them, collect the money as you take orders, and turn in money promptly to prevent misplacement or other potential issues.
I assure you that we will make every child feel special and included in some way shape or form. This is a team effort! Let's have some fun and sell some chocolate!
These students earned 100% on their January ELA Evaluate assessment! Awesome job!
Families,
Next school year is just around the corner! If you know any incoming kindergartener who will be 5 by July 31, 2025, please encourage them to swing by the Cuba Elementary between 5:00 PM-7:00 PM on February 13th. Students and families will be able to drop off shot records and paperwork and meet teachers and administrators! We look forward to seeing our next group of Wildcats, and if you have any questions please contact the elementary office at 573-885-2538 ext. 1177. Thanks and have a great day!
Cuba run club members took part in a race to raise money and awareness about Crohns disease and fund research in a chilly 5K Sunday. Runners both ran the race and volunteered at the aid stations alongside parents and community supporters. This was followed by a much needed warm brunch!
Congrats to these Wildcats that did not miss a second of school first semester! They received a certificate and a homework pass! Not pictured Cole Tatkenhorst and Zetta Ringeisen.
Shout out to everyone who helped with the districtwide wellness fair. The staff enjoyed the time to learn about all kinds of different topics to improve their health.
Allison Villenmure, Abigail Stovall, and Lexi Proffer competed in the GVC Science Olympiad competition. Allison and Abigail won first in Anatomy and first in Chemistry. Cuba won 3rd overall in the conference. Way to go ladies!
We appreciate you!
Business Management students were tasked with a team building activity this week of building the tallest snowman. The winning snowman reached 12.5 inches tall! All groups had fun creating their snowmen!
Save the date!
Our Candy Arrangement Sale has begun! Forms will be passed out to elementary students soon and middle and high school students can grab them from their respective offices today!
Order forms must be turned in and paid for by February 4th!
Elementary Yearbooks are on sale now through March 2nd!
With the drop in temperatures, we want to share a few helpful tips with our families to help students stay warm. ❄️ Bundle Up! Dress students in warm winter clothing and footwear, with multiple layers, to keep them well insulated. ❄️ Wait Together! Rather than students wait outside in the cold for buses, have them wait inside a warm vehicle near the bus stop. ❄️ If posssible, drive students if they typically walk or bike to and from school.

Congrats to Marlee Jones on her last Speech competition for FFA! We appreciate her leading our drumline through the halls on the way to the pep assembly!
The ice and snow couldn't stop Wildcats past and present from enjoying a fun night of tradition. Feel free to tag and share if you see someone you know.
Student Council put on a fantastic pep assembly! We had mattress surfing, tug of war, decade movie trivia, and a special performance by our fantastic dance team!
