Cuba Elementary Carnival is May 8th!
You know what would be really fun? Joining Mrs. Green for summer school at Cuba Elementary!
What will your student do during the day?
Students will engage in academic skill work that prepares them for the upcoming school year. The morning academic blocks will focus on skills aligned to Missouri Learning Standards. The afternoon academic blocks will be enrichment and intervention using a variety of small group projects and engaging activities. Brain breaks and physical activity are strategically placed throughout the day, along with themed days, field trips to local facilities, and more!
Forms can be picked up in the elementary office or you can contact us to send a copy home with your child. The deadline for enrollment is May 9th! Splash into a fun summer!

The 8th grade Movin' Up Celebration is Thursday, May 22 at 2:00 pm. We ask that those who wish to attend arrive at the middle school no later than 1:50 pm to get checked in and seated. Please park in the parking lot, not in the bus lane.

More than 5,200 of Missouri’s brightest future business leaders gathered in Springfield from April 13–15 for the 2025 Missouri Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). This annual event brought together student leaders, advisers, industry professionals, and volunteers for three days of dynamic learning, competition, and connection. Students who had advanced from their districts competed in over 70 different competitive events. Beyond competition, attendees engaged in immersive programming designed to develop their leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Cuba Elementary SRO, Corporal Warner, gave an informative presentation to first grade friends. He was able to show off his drone flying skills and answer numerous questions from curious minds. We appreciate his time and efforts to connect with students.
