We took 18 students to the Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge. Out of @ 35 total teams, Cuba placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th. Only the top 3 teams received cash prizes per student, and Cuba took all three spots!
First place winners were Owen Duarte, Makenlee Lorenz, and Mark Freeman - they each received $300.
Second place, Rex Emery and Tristin Grindel - each receiving $200
Third place, Scott Reedy and Kaitlin (Micah) Brown - each receiving $100

On Friday, December 13, 2024, a bus route experienced a delay in transporting students home due to student behavior. Our driver followed district policies and safety protocols to address the situation.
When student behavior creates an unsafe environment on the bus, our drivers are trained to prioritize the safety of all passengers by stopping the bus until the issue is resolved. We are grateful for the prompt assistance of our School Resource Officer and Chief of Police, who met the bus and worked with students to ensure the route could safely continue.
To help maintain a safe and orderly environment, we kindly ask that you remind your child of the importance of following bus rules and expectations. This helps ensure a safe and efficient ride for everyone.

This will give teachers time to take attendance and put lunches in. We ask that parents drop off their children like normal. Once we open the doors to families we will get everyone signed in and sent to classrooms.
