Special Area Student of the Month October - Landry Sanders always presents with respect, kindness and is ready to extend a helping hand and welcoming smile no matter where she is or what she's doing. She works hard, and is kind to all.

CMS 8th grade students of the month for October are Konnor Helderle and Claire Echols. Konnor and Claire consistently demonstrate the three R's by being Respectful, Responsible, and Reliable!

CMS 8th Grade Algebra students traveled to Missouri S&T to explore potential careers and do some experiments!










CMS 5th Grade students took a trip to the St. Louis Zoo!










The 7th grade had a fun Halloween.

These students received positive office referrals from their teachers. They are rockstars at being respectful, responsible and reliable! Way to go kids!

Creative Crafters made pumpkins with Mrs. Haist and Mrs. Steiger. They were able to sew the pieces together, stuff them, glue a face on and sew the closing. Great job Students!!!

CMS 8th Grade Students went on a tour of the Missouri State Penitentiary. This is the oldest, and for a while the only prison west of the Mississippi River. It opened in 1836 with one guard, one warden, and fifteen prisoners. Check out our photo album: https://photos.app.goo.gl/DXmzAeEvnW7ZDc4LA

Here are the spirit days for middle school.

Mrs. Callahan's 7th hour Desktop & Graphics class had a contest of creating a Girl’s Basketball Shirt. Congratulations to Brylee Bourbon for winning this contest unanimously!
Malachi Woodruff was in 2nd place.
Both Brylee and Malachi received a certificate. All of the students did a great job and were rewarded with Pizza from a couple of the coaches and game of Ultimate frisbee.





A big shout out to Mrs. Roberts for Instructional Coaches Day! We love working with her at CMS! She is the best!

Special Area chose Boone Marquez as their Student of the Month for September.

Kathryn Mazzei-
Kathryn is always on task in class and does all her work with excellence. Her smile and everyday presence is welcoming to the classroom each hour. Kathryn displays an excellent example of what the 3 R's-Responsible, Reliable and Respectful are at our school.
Colin Kleinigger-
Colin is a polite, responsible and respectful student. He displays great manners, works well with his peers, and is diligent in his academic work. He also has an easy-going personality that helps to improve the mood and function of the classroom.
