Crawford County R-2 School District has a Parents as Teachers program that is a valuable resource to families in our CCR2 community. There are four main components in PAT which include monthly home visits, developmental screenings, resource sharing, and group connection events. Friendly Reminder to Parents/Guardians of CCR2 Students,
Missouri Statute 168.133 states that the school district shall ensure that a criminal background check and fingerprinting is conducted for all screened volunteers, who shall complete the background check prior to being left alone with a student. All volunteers need a full criminal background/fingerprint check through the Missouri Highway Patrol. This law went into effect August 2019. The code you will use is 0546 to have the results shared with CCR2 central office administration. One official background check is good for all your parent volunteer activities within the district. These are good for one calendar year. You can register online through Identogo and use the district code. This will save time when you go in for your fingerprinting.
