Happy Administrative Professional's Day! We are blessed to have a great group of Administrative Professionals in the Crawford County R2 School District and they do a fantastic job of maintaining the office. Thank you for all you do!
We were hanging new plaques today at Cuba High School, Congratulations to the 2026 Math Competition team and the 2025-26 Girls Basketball team for putting new hardware on the wall outside of Mike Voight Gymnasium. In order to make room we had to retire the 1983 Volleyball 2nd Place District and 2001 Girls GVC Championship plaques. Congratulations to these two teams, your accomplishments will be forever recognized in the digital display outside of the gym. Its a Great Day to be a WILDCAT!!!
It’s National Home Visiting Week, and Crawford County R-II is fortunate to have Mrs. Lorenz serving as our Parents as Teachers Educator. She is an incredible asset to our district, providing meaningful, hands-on experiences that support early childhood development while building strong, trusting relationships with families.
Parents as Teachers is an evidence-based early childhood program that partners with families from pregnancy through kindergarten entry. The program focuses on child development, school readiness, and family well-being through personalized home visits, developmental screenings, and connections to community resources. These services help parents better understand their child’s growth and learning, empowering them to be their child’s first and most important teacher.
If you have a child under the age of five who is not currently enrolled in Parents as Teachers and you live within the Crawford County R-II School District, we encourage you to reach out to Mrs. Lorenz to learn more about this valuable opportunity.
6th Grade April Students of the Month
Liam has grown tremendously this year. He continues to work hard and push himself out of his comfort zone to achieve his goals in both the classroom and drama club. He is consistent, reliable, and level-headed, and he has a slew of friends who respect him (as evidenced in their words and writing). His perseverance will take him far in life!
Harlow has truly earned this honor through her consistent dedication and positive attitude. She is kind and respectful to everyone around her, creating a welcoming and supportive classroom environment. Her attentiveness and strong organizational skills help her stay on top of all responsibilities, and she consistently completes assignments on time with care to meet expectations. In addition to her strong work ethic, Harlow is friendly and always willing to lend a hand to classmates, making her a valued member of the school community. Her hard work and character make her truly deserving of this recognition.

The Wildcats drop a heartbreaker in 11 innings vs Belle this evening.
After a delayed start due to a pop up thunderstorm last Thursday the Cuba LadyCats track team won our Cuba Invitational Track Meet by 33 points over the nearest competition.

Wildcat baseball took down the Hermann Bearcats in both the Varsity and JV games.
Hey 8th grade parents! Due to the removal of the last two days of school 8th grade promotion is now on Tuesday, May 19 at 2:00 pm. Our last day of school is now May 20.
Spring Senior Night for Golf and Track and Field was held last night during our Cuba Invitational Track Meet. The weather started off iffy, but Mother Nature cooperated and allowed for us to celebrate these 2026 Spring Seniors.
