Hello, Cuba Wildcats! Are you on the hunt for some stylish black and gold youth apparel? Perhaps you're in need of a cozy adult hoodie, a Wildcat stocking cap, or a pullover for those winter sports? Look no further! Cuba Elementary has launched an apparel store to meet all your school spirit needs. Yes, those Small Town Vibe and Wildcat Pride shirts are here! Just scan the QR code or click the link below to place your order. The apparel store is now open and will close on October 29th at midnight. All orders will be delivered to the elementary school once they're ready, and you’ll receive an email notification when it’s time to pick up your items. It's super easy for you, and your purchases directly support our Cuba Elementary students! You’ll get an email confirmation after placing your order—if you don't see it, then your order didn’t go through. This is a fantastic opportunity to tackle some holiday shopping while supporting your community. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the elementary office. Flyers will go home with students this week, and there will be extra copies available in the office. Please remember, all payments must be made through the link; we won’t be accepting cash directly on campus. Happy shopping, and GO WILDCATS! https://cubaelem25.itemorder.com/shop/home/

On October 10, 2025, the Cuba Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star—a charitable and fraternal organization—presented Crawford County R-II with a generous donation of $16,500.

Superintendent Dr. Scott Davidson and his leadership team had compiled a wish list of items designed to enhance the learning experience for R-II students. Thanks to the Eastern Star and the Masonic Home of Missouri, these educational resources will be available for purchase and put to use for each grade level across the district.

The Cuba Chapter is able to make such meaningful contributions through strong community support and successful fundraising efforts, including yard sales and an annual country breakfast.

Present for the check presentation were (L–R): Bill Dean, Tess Green (Elementary Principal), Faye Howard, Barbara Palmer, Marie Shoemaker (Middle School Principal), and Carole Dean.
Not pictured: Mike Clutts (High School Principal), Dr. Scott Davidson (Superintendent), and Dr. Myra Siebert (Assistant Superintendent).

Students from our CHS Future Teacher Program attended the National Be A Teacher Day event at RTC today! ECC and Missouri S&T shared presentations about their education programs, and current teachers gave inspiring “Day in the Life of a Teacher” sessions. Our students had a great day learning, connecting, and getting excited about their future in education!

At Cuba Elementary students have an opportunity to earn tickets throughout the building for Pawsitive Pal behavior. These tickets can be passed out by all elementary staff to any student. At the end of each month building admin draw 5 tickets from each grade level bucket. Prizes are often purchased through donations and small fundraisers like our recent $1 hat day. Here are a few of our September winners! Cuba Elementary is excited to partner with local businesses to praise our little ones for excellent behavior. A big thank you to 🦉Wise Little Owls Preschool🦉 for their generous donation to help with students prizes for the month September. They were our very first local business. If you would like to support our Pawsitive Pals, please reach out to our office for further details!
