Third grade classes challenged each other in the 🏀 March Madness 🏀Reading Race. They raced to see who could pass the most AR tests in the month of March!
-Together as a grade level they passed 875 test! 📚
-Mrs Vincent’s class won a pizza party. They passed 298 tests. 🍕
-Anah came in with the highest passing 57! 🏆

Cuba baseball drops a close one to Richland from Paul Bryan Field.

CHS Weekly Activities 3/23-3/28.

Cuba baseball kicked off their season today in playing two games in Salem today. The Wildcats came up just short vs Waynesville and then defeated Salem in 5 innings.

The Cuba Ladycats A team ended their season with a 4th place finish in the St. James tournament today. The girls had a great season overall. They were really fun to watch!

6th Grade March Students of the Month
Abi Palmer:
Abi comes to class with a positive attitude every day. She works hard and is always willing to help other students, showing patience and respect for all of her peers. In class discussions, she contributes meaningful and substantial input that also shows thoughtfulness and curiosity. She is responsible for her work and completes all of it to the best of her ability, asking questions for clarification in order to ensure her work is of great quality.
Dom Wild:
Dominic shows respect for adults by having impeccable manners and following directions without reminders. He is responsible for his work and asks questions in class. He has a great sense of humor and brings a lightness to class that puts those around him at ease. Dominic is always willing to help out and takes on extra classroom chores in order to ensure our room is ready for learning each morning.

Dr. Myra Siebert, Assistant Superintendent of Crawford County R-II School District, has been recognized by the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA) as the 2025-2026 Assistant Superintendent for the South Central Region. This honor is awarded to a central office leader who exemplifies excellence in educational leadership and a commitment to student success. Nominated and selected by her professional peers, Dr. Siebert’s recognition reflects her dedication to continuous improvement, strong leadership, and unwavering support of students, staff, and the Cuba Wildcat community.

CHS had a great time with the “Pie a Teacher” fundraiser. A huge thank you to our teachers for being such great sports. Because of their willingness to take one for the team, we were able to raise money that will go toward our NHS induction ceremony next month. Thank you for helping make this such a fun and successful event. -CHS National Honor Society

Cuba High School Weekly Activities 3/16-3/21.

6th Grade February Students of the Month:
Londyn is a very respectful and responsible student. She comes to class prepared to work and consistently turns in her assignments on time. She gets along well with both her teachers and her peers, and she contributes positively to the classroom environment.
Mason models responsibility through his diligent work in class. He is respectful and polite and follows classroom rules. When given the opportunity, he works well with peers and in groups. Mason also has a great sense of humor and shows up to class daily with a smile.

Today in Mrs. Jones 7th hour class-we celebrated the class party that was bought with WILDCAT BUCKS!
We ate snacks kindly donated, ran , played and soaked up some sun!
