Crawford County R-II Schools

Tell me summer school isn’t fun… and I’ll raise you. ☀️📚 ✨ Smiles that light up the room ✨ Growth we can see every day ✨ Giggles and friendships being built ✨ Light bulb moments that show learning is happening ✨ Confidence growing ✨ Memories being made along the way Summer School isn’t just about academics — it’s about creating experiences, building relationships, and helping our Wildcats shine even when the school year is winding down.

Last week marked another exciting step forward for Proposition K.I.D.S. as Navigate Building Solutions and District Superintendent met with architects, lighting contractors, playground contractors, and fencing contractors to tour the campus and began mapping out project timelines. The energy and momentum surrounding these improvements were evident, and it is exciting to see these long-awaited projects moving from planning to action.

Work is scheduled to begin as early as next week with the installation of the new football field lighting, followed by new lighting at the softball and baseball fields. Once summer school concludes, crews will transition to the playground and fencing improvements in July, bringing even more visible progress to our campus.

Looking ahead, architects are targeting completion of all project designs by December. Reaching this milestone will allow us to bid the remaining projects and position the district for a busy and transformative summer of 2027. We are grateful for the community's support and look forward to sharing updates as these improvements continue to take shape for our students, staff, and community.
