Cuba High School is taking a Student Pep Bus to Perryville on Saturday to support our Wildcats. The bus will leave at 10:15am and will leave promptly following the game arriving back on campus around 6:00pm. Cost will be $2 per student which will cover your admission. Students need to sign up in the CHS office and pick up a parent permission slip. We need a minimum of 20 students signed up by the end of the day on Thursday to make this happen.

🍂The fall chill is upon us, and it's a great time to order some CCR2 gear!🍂

Weekly Activities 10/20 - 10/25

Tonight, we honored someone who has been part of the Wildcat family for 30 unforgettable years. Since 1995, Joe Cason has been the voice that carries across our field—and, when the wind is right, all the way across town—announcing every touchdown, every victory, and every unforgettable Wildcat moment. His enthusiasm, commitment, and iconic call of encouragement—“He’s a tough kid, he’ll be back!”—are what make game night feel like home. Thank you, Joe, for 30 years of loyalty, dedication, and Wildcat pride!

TEENS TEACH - Seven Cuba High School juniors and seniors spent time this week teaching seventh graders as part of an Alcohol Awareness and Underage Drinking Prevention program. The lessons went incredibly well, and students engaged in some great conversations about making safe and responsible choices. Participating students included Cameron Carnal, Gabby Garms, Chelsi Erxleben, Ryan Thompson, Reece Biggers, Cielo Romo, and Saige Hanes. Thanks goes to Prevention Consultants of Missouri for training our CHS students for this program.

Senior Night for Football, Band, Drill Team and Cross Country will be held Friday 10/17 prior to the football game vs. Bayless. Parents and Seniors meet between 6:20 and 6:25 by the concession stand. Senior Night will begin at 6:30.

First grade took on Heartland Farms this week! They had beautiful weather and made great memories with their peers. 🌽🍂🚜🐐

🍂🍁Cuba Elementary has filled their week with fall festivities!
2nd grade had their music concert tonight with Mrs. Martin. Our audience enjoyed solo acts, rhythm sticks, dance moves, and songs that spread fall cheer! Great work 2nd grade!🍂🍁

3rd grade students explored the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City today. This field trip gives students an opportunity to see and hear about Missouri history, a large part of their social studies curriculum.

See you tonight!

On October 10, 2025, the Cuba Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star—a charitable and fraternal organization—presented Crawford County R-II with a generous donation of $16,500.
Superintendent Dr. Scott Davidson and his leadership team had compiled a wish list of items designed to enhance the learning experience for R-II students. Thanks to the Eastern Star and the Masonic Home of Missouri, these educational resources will be available for purchase and put to use for each grade level across the district.
The Cuba Chapter is able to make such meaningful contributions through strong community support and successful fundraising efforts, including yard sales and an annual country breakfast.
Present for the check presentation were (L–R): Bill Dean, Tess Green (Elementary Principal), Faye Howard, Barbara Palmer, Marie Shoemaker (Middle School Principal), and Carole Dean.
Not pictured: Mike Clutts (High School Principal), Dr. Scott Davidson (Superintendent), and Dr. Myra Siebert (Assistant Superintendent).
