
Ms. Bailey's 5th grade Science classes have been working on a STEM project. Students built their own race cars in class using limited materials. Class races were held on Wednesday, January 24 and pictured are the winners from each class. The final race was held during Pride Time on Thursday and Leightin and Taylea were the overall winners! Congratulations to all winners!





5th grade students of the month for December--Kaylee Good and Cohen Schmidt. Both of these students demonstrate leadership and are role models in the classroom. Kaylee and Cohen are hard workers and work well with others. Congratulations!


Parents! The lost and found was overflowing! We placed the items on some tables in the gym lobby. I have taken some pictures to show you how much we have. If your child is missing shoes, shorts, shirts, stocking caps, hoodies, jackets, etc. there is a good chance it's at school. If you see something that looks familiar in the video, please call the office. You are also welcome to come and look through the items too!

The Crawford County R-II School District is planning on being in session on Friday, January 19, 2024 unless conditions develop other than the cold. Courtwarming activities will take place as well. Please make sure your child(ren) dresses warm.

Shelby Rybacki is the December 2023 Student of the Month chosen by Special Area for consistently working hard, helping others with sewing, and cleaning up areas around her without being asked. Thank you Shelby for all you do!

Mrs. Haist's classes sewed 9 Patch and letter pillows. Such a wonderful variety of patterns.







Mrs. Callahan's Multimedia class created Theme Parks and her Desktop & Graphics class created mini Magazines.









6th Grade Students of the Month-December
Gabby is always respectful, responsible and helpful. Gabby keeps up with all her work and sets a positive example for others around her in each hour. Teachers agree that Gabby is a pure delight to have in class daily. Thank you for being such a role model in our classes, Gabby!
Xander is always respectful and sweet. Xander works hard and always has a positive attitude. Teachers all agree that Xander is enjoyable to be around and gets along with everyone. Thank you for being such a positive kid in our classes, Xander!


Last Friday, the Middle School Drama Club performed The Merrie Christmas Show for the elementary and middle school. The play was a collection of Christmas stories from around the world. This was the first production for some of our actors and they did a great job!




November students of the month for 5th grade are Elsie Rutz and Hayden Mason.
Elsie is a sweet, caring individual who is always willing to help others. She listens to her teachers, turns her homework in on time, and is always following the three R's.
Hayden is always willing to help his classmates, works well with others, and gets along with everybody. Everybody loves Hayden's jokes and school spirit!

Builders Club had 31 students in attendance for their Christmas Party. Everyone had a blast playing games, exchanging gifts, eating, and visiting with their friends. Thank you to all the parents who brought in snacks and drinks and allowed your students to participate. You are greatly appreciated. Here are just a couple of pictures to show the excitement.

Cuba Middle School honored our Veterans on November 8, 2023, with a luncheon in the Library. We had eight Veterans attend to speak to the students. Thank you to all Veterans for serving our Country.
