6th Grade April Students of the Month:
Maddison Bonney is one of the happiest students in 6th grade. She gets along with all her teachers and the students say that everyone likes her. Teachers notice that she is always patient and kind to others. In addition, she is a hard worker.
Sherlyn is a dependable student with a sweet, quiet demeanor. Even though she is quiet, her sense of humor is stellar. Students say that she is loyal and gets all of her work done on time. Teachers point out that she is a joy to have in class and turns in great work.
Hey CMS! Don't forget the CMS Variety show is tonight! There will be food, demonstrations, projects on display, the book fair, and a map quest! Then of couse 8th Grade Night at the Museum at 6:00 pm in the gym. Doors open at 5:30-7:00 pm for food and all other activities. Hope to see you tonight!

The Middle School Drama Club had a very successful first night performing Captain Bree and Her Lady Pirates! Two encore performances Friday, May 3 at 6 and Saturday, May 4 at 2 in the High School Commons.

6th Grade March Students of the Month:
Nikole consistently completes her work and does so happily. Nikole gets along with everyone and other students say she has a loving, quiet personality. Teachers report that Nikole is dependable and a joy to have in class.
Liam is a happy student who is always uplifting everyone around him. Students talk about how nice he is. Teachers point out that he is easy to get along with and performs well in class.
On April 25. 2024, CMS 5th and 6th graders who earned the ZONE MAP incentive spent time enjoying the afternoon in Rolla, MO.
We are so proud of all the hard work the students put into MAP testing!

In early May, the Middle School Drama Club will perform Captain Bree and Her Lady Pirates. We are starting the process of selling ADs for the musical. The ADs will be put in the playbill of the musical. The following are the prices.

We will accept ads from any of the surrounding counties: Gasconade, Phelps, Franklin, Dent, Washington, and Iron County. As a reminder, donations are always welcomed. Mrs. Callahan's Theme Park Project - Students digitally created a theme park in Google Drawing and then made STEM models of their designs. They were having a great time!
